Gateway's vision is to be a church unified in faith yet dispersed in influence. A church comprised of small faith communities in every corner of Austin committed to meeting people's needs. A church with a mission to help people become all God intended them to be. And, a church with a passion to help them love God, love people, build character, and build Christ's church. When people of Austin think of Gateway we want them to say, "If this is what God is like, I want to know Him."
Gateway has never been about a physical building. No facility will ever be big enough or accessible enough to fully accomplish our vision. The capacity and constraints of temporary buildings and lease agreements have always been one of our biggest challenges. Within a few months, our current location on Bull Creek will be demolished. We are building our McNeil home to serve as an epicenter of activity to reach out and serve our neighbors across Austin.
